We broke out the tripod, the bib, and the yummy rice cereal for Berlyn’s first encounter with solid food (if you can even call it solid). And while it was no braised lamb with a red wine reduction, we think she kinda likes it. Although she’s still a bit ambivalent with her new skill of eating off a spoon, we know she’ll be digging into ice cream and tater-tots in no time. Yum.
After a good meal, Berlyn loves to digest upside down.
All that food makes Berlyn sleepy. Apparently she sleeps better with her pants half-way on.

She is so precious! Looks like she is wearing more cereal than she has eaten! LOL! She is just too precious for words. Enjoy these moments while they are so innocent and new! Nothing compares to watching your children experience their “firsts” in everything they do. Such a wonderful site to behold.

pat and becky-i don’t remember who told me about this site but i finally found it and its pretty great to see such a beautiful family. congrats on berlyn, she is perfect. all the best to you guys, i’m on the east coast now at nursing school-let me know if you are ever in the DC area!
